Drawings of six year old son turned into reality

This is so funny (and freaky 😉 at the same time.

Father turns drawings of son into ‘reality’

Dom Curtis, a now sever year old boy, who loves drawing, has woken up the creativity in his father, Tom. Tom works in the advertising industry and one thing’s for sure. That guy is the Chuck Norris of Photoshop

Tom used a picture of their cat for their first Instagram post. He told us that:
The first and favourite Tom used a picture of their cat for their first Instagram post. He told us that: “I think my favourite has to be the cat, our first ever Instagram post. It’s a bit rough and ready but still makes me smile. And our cat is really old now so it might be how we remember her. Perhaps not.” Source: Instagram @ThingsIhavedrawn

Extra pocket money?

Now that their Instagram account @thingsihavedrawn is going viral (1000s of new followers in a matter of hours), Dom asked his dad if he’s now going to get some more pocket money 😉 Obviously Dom is not just creative, but he’s a little business man too 😉

More than ‘photos’

On Dom’s Instagram account (@thingsIhavedrawn) you also find very witty, sweet little rhymes.

I always draw things I have actually seen.
Here is a penguin to show what I mean.
I'm pretty well sure they can't fly in the air.
So have no idea how he got up there.

As long as you smile

The original idea wasn’t that Tom took Dom’s drawings and showed what they might look like in real life. Tom told us that instead the idea is about imagining a world in which kids’ drawings are accurate and the things they draw are real.

As Tom put it: "It’s just us silly adults that don’t see them because we’re not looking hard enough. ‘I draw what I saw’ follows that theme. In other words, Dom has seen something, drawn it, and I take the photo to show that it’s accurate. Of course it doesn’t matter how people interpret it – as long as it makes them smile."

There's lots of you out there who've not seen what I draw
But I'm sorry to those who have seen these before
